25+ years in law enforcement & securityA structured 12-month partnershipBased in Lugoff, South Carolina
    More than a training day

    Preparedness is a practice.
    We help you build it.

Church leaders carry an extraordinary responsibility: welcoming people while caring for their well-being. Safety planning should support that mission with clear priorities and practical steps.

SafeChurch 360° brings assessment, written emergency planning, training, and leadership support into one structured year—without the expense of a full-time safety director.

Why a full year? An assessment identifies needs and a training day introduces skills. The annual partnership gives your leaders scheduled opportunities to practice decisions, discuss gaps, and review progress as they put recommendations into action.

    The complete partnership

    Eight ways we help.
    One shared purpose.

A defined, single-campus engagement that turns good intentions into a practical preparedness process.

    01 / ASSESS

    Know where you stand.

One on-site vulnerability assessment with written findings and prioritized improvement recommendations.

    02 / PLAN

    Put your response in writing.

Creation of a written church emergency plan, policy, or procedure tailored to your campus and agreed priorities. We work with your leaders to define response steps, responsibilities, and communication. You do not need an existing plan to begin; the document and its scope are confirmed in your written agreement.

    03 / TRAIN

Prepare the people who step forward.

One on-site safety-team session, up to three hours for up to 12 attendees. Select a focus such as church safety-team foundations, active-threat awareness and response, or de-escalation and situational awareness. We agree on the topic with your leaders before scheduling.

    04 / GUIDE

    A sounding board for leadership.

Two scheduled virtual leadership consultations, up to 60 minutes each, focused on your church’s priorities.

    05 / EXERCISE

Talk it through. Find the gaps.

Two facilitated virtual tabletop exercises, up to 60 minutes each, to discuss decisions and response responsibilities.

    06 / LEARN

    Online training for your church.

Your partnership includes 12 months of access to the Palmetto SafeChurch online training library for your church’s pastors, ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers. This is a church-wide annual license included in the $4,995 partnership—not a separate per-person purchase. Your people train online at their own pace.

    07 / REVIEW

See your progress. Set your priorities.

One annual written improvement report summarizing progress, unresolved needs, and next-year recommendations.

    08 / SUPPORT

    Guidance when questions arise.

Up to six nonurgent email advisory requests during the term, with a target response of three business days.

Twelve months per church location. Scheduling, travel, enrollment, and final scope are established in a written agreement.

    Included throughout your partnership

    One church license.
A full year of online learning.

For the people serving across your church.

Palmetto SafeChurch is PSS’s online church-safety and emergency-preparedness training library. Your pastors, ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers can learn at their own pace for 12 months.

This access is included in the $4,995 SafeChurch 360° partnership. It is separate from—and in addition to—the on-site session for up to 12 safety-team attendees.

    Clarity before commitment

    Good questions.
    Straight answers.

Is this a security guard service?

No. This is an advisory, planning, and training program. It does not include security staffing, armed protection, emergency dispatch, or continuous monitoring.

We already have a safety team. Is this for us?

The partnership can help your existing team review its practices, prioritize improvements, and work through instruction and exercises. Leadership retains responsibility for staffing, decisions, and implementation.

We do not have an emergency plan. Can we still join?

Yes. The partnership includes creating a church emergency plan, policy, or procedure. We work with your leaders to identify the document your church needs and tailor it to your campus and agreed priorities. Your written agreement defines the document and scope before work begins. Your leaders review, approve, and implement the completed document.

What will our safety team learn?

The included on-site session is up to three hours for up to 12 attendees. Possible focuses include safety-team foundations and communication, active-threat awareness and response, or de-escalation and situational awareness. We select the topic with your leaders based on your priorities. This is one agreed session, rather than all PSS courses combined.

How much time and work will our church need to contribute?

Choose a leadership contact to coordinate scheduling, provide campus information, and help develop and review your written plan, policy, or procedure. Your selected team members attend the on-site session; designated leaders participate in two virtual consultations and two virtual tabletop exercises, each up to 60 minutes. Online learning is self-paced. Between sessions, your church assigns responsibilities, communicates procedures, and implements agreed improvements. The time needed for that work depends on your starting point and priorities, which we discuss during the consultation.

Why choose a year-long partnership instead of one training day?

A single training day helps build knowledge. This partnership also includes assessment, creation of a written emergency plan, policy, or procedure, year-long online access, scheduled leadership consultations and tabletop exercises, and an annual improvement report. Those follow-up opportunities help your leaders practice decisions, identify gaps, and review progress as your church implements improvements.

Are CPR and AED certifications included?

No. American Red Cross certification courses are available separately. We can discuss the appropriate course and quote for your team.

    What is the annual investment?

The 12-month partnership is $4,995 per church location. The installment option is $1,500 down, followed by 10 monthly payments of $317.73 and one final monthly payment of $317.70, totaling $4,995. Your written agreement confirms travel arrangements, any applicable travel charges, enrollment coverage, and final scope.

Who gets the 12 months of online training?

The included Palmetto SafeChurch annual church license provides access to the online training library for your church’s pastors, ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers. It is church-wide access for the covered church location, rather than access limited to the 12 attendees at the on-site session. Participants train online at their own pace using the enrollment instructions PSS provides. The license is included in your $4,995 partnership price; you do not need to purchase it separately. The written agreement confirms the access dates and enrollment and license terms.

What about travel and on-site scheduling?

PSS is based in Lugoff, South Carolina. Share your church’s location during the consultation so we can confirm on-site availability, travel arrangements, and any applicable travel charges in your written proposal.

What happens during the free consultation?

In a complimentary 30-minute conversation, we will discuss your church’s priorities, answer your questions, and determine whether the partnership fits your needs. If it is a fit, the next step is a written proposal confirming the scope and terms.

Can you work with multiple campuses?

The standard engagement covers one church location. Additional campuses and travel requirements are separately scoped before an agreement.

    Does the program guarantee safety?

No program can guarantee an incident will not occur. SafeChurch 360° supports preparedness through recommendations, instruction, and exercises. It does not replace emergency services or the church’s responsibilities.
