    Wayne is the Founder and Lead Instructor for Palmetto Safe Solutions (PSS). With more than 25 years of combined law enforcement, security, and global protection experience, Wayne brings a rare depth of expertise to every training and assessment he delivers. His career spans local, national, and international security operations, including serving as Security Manager for the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan — one of the most complex and high‑threat environments in the world.

    As the Founder and Lead Instructor of Palmetto Safe Solutions, Wayne specializes in Active Shooter Response, crisis leadership, and safety readiness. He is certified through the nation’s leading programs, including ALERRT, ASIS International, and ALICE, and has trained thousands of individuals, volunteers, and organizations in proven, life‑saving response strategies.

    Wayne’s background extends into advanced threat management and intelligence. He is an Insider Threat Program Manager (ITPM) through Carnegie Mellon University, High Threat Protection Certified through the U.S. Department of State, and served as Hostage Negotiator, Certified through the FBI. His experience equips him to help organizations identify vulnerabilities, strengthen decision‑making under pressure, and build resilient safety cultures.

    His emergency management credentials include formal certifications through FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security, complementing his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Wayne currently holds a Secret Clearance with the FBI.
